Trek 26: Inca Trails

The hacienda at the start of this trek has changed owners and no longer offers accommodation. The location of the trailhead and the route are unchanged.

Since you can no longer spend the night at the hacienda, you must now get a very early start in Cuenca. You should be on the 0530 bus from the Feria Libre to Guillanshapa in order to reach the trailhead on time, enjoy the trek, and arrive in Cumbe before dark.

Alternatively, there is another hacienda near the trailhead owned by Señor Juan Fernando Malo, which may be able to offer accommodation. Contact the Travel Center in Cuenca for details (Hermano Miguel 4-46 y Calle Larga, Phone: 07-282-3782).
